THE STITCHES STORY
Our story begins 30 years ago where our founders began their tailoring beginnings. The “go-to” for the fashion runways and high fashion brands, their alteration services were second to none. Yet something was missing for them and that was being able to bring these experiences to the masses, not just the models, the rich and the fortunate.
And so began Stitches, with our first store opening in Manchester in 2003. We had underestimated the popularity of our services and had soon out-grown our little store and we moved to a much larger, purposely designed premises on St Mary’s Steet. We continued to grow and with glowing testimonials and word of mouth we soon realised we needed to open another store and we chose Stephenson Street in Birmingham. And then in 2011 it was time for us to open a third store on The Headrow in Leeds.
Ensuring all our stores stay true to our values of delivering great customer service, keeping our customers satisfied and providing great value for money led us to become the most popular alteration and repair company in Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds – an honour that we wish to keep.
